5. Snowman

Now let’s add in the most important thing, the snowman!
First start by making a new layer in the document. Make a selection with the elliptical marquee tool then fill the selection with white.

Make another new layer, then make another smaller selection above this one, fill it with white again.

Then again once more.

Now apply the folowing layer styles to each of these snowball layers:
• Outer Glow
• Inner Glow
• Gradient Overlay
Your snowman should now look like this:

Added buttons to the middle snowball:

Then add in the facial features. Do this by making a new layer, then drawing circles in the shape of eyes and a mouth. Also make a triangular selection for the nose.

Next make the snowman’s hat and pipe by creating some simple black rectangles and using the free transform tool to angle them properly.
