Font Text Added First Order - Photoshop Tutorial
Go into the Blending Options for your text layer, and use the following settings:

  1. Blending Options: Custom
  2. Drop Shadow
  3. Inner Shadow
  4. Outer Glow

If you used the correct settings, you should have text that looks like this now:

Lastly, you can add in a background and some post-effects.
Before After Effects - Photoshop Tutorial
To get the background effect as shown in the above image, follow these simple steps:

  1. Start by making a new layer below the scroll layers, with one of the scattered leaves brushes, make a bit of random brushing on the background, apply Filter > Blur > Motion Blur with these settings, then change the layer mode to Overlay and lower the opacity to 40%. (image)
  2. Download this abstract render, place it in the background somewhere, change the layer mode to Screen and lower the opacity to about 30%. (image)
  3. Duplicate the render layer you just made, change the layer mode to Vivid Light and lower the opacity to 20%. (image)
  4. Lastly, on a new layer do a little bit of brushing with a large, soft brush. The color I used for my brushing was #2b3136 and afterwards I changed the layer mode to Soft Light. (image)

And that should leave you with a relatively nice and interesting background like so:
