Now for those cool post-effects I was talking about. To add a nice, sharp, vibrant effect to the final image, follow these steps:
- First start by copying the whole image onto one separate layer, you can do this by making a new empty layer, then going to Image > Apply Image…
- After you applied the image, apply Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen then fade it to about 40% (Edit > Fade Sharpen.
- On the same layer apply Filter > Noise > Add Noise with an Amount of about 1.0.
- Duplicate the layer you’re on then go into Filter > Render > Lighting Effects, the only setting you’ll need to change is Light type: Omni. After applying the Lighting Effects, lower the layer opacity to 50%.
