3. Curves Layer

In the layers menu, go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves, use the following (you don’t have to be exact) settings:

It should produce something similar to this:

Don’t worry! It’s meant to look like that.

4. Adjustments

Create a new layer and fill it with #a55901, set the layer mode to Hue.

Merge all the layers together and apply Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen, fade the sharpen to 30%, by going to Edit > Fade Sharpen, or Shift+CTRL+F.

Make a new Brightness/Contrast layer by going to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Brightness/Contrast…, use the following options:

Merge the layers together and apply Filter > Other > Offset with these options:

With Photoshop CS 2, you can use the Spot Healing Brush Tool to just click the middle area where its incorrectly-tiled and it will fix itself, but with older versions you might have to use the Clone Stamp Tool or another one of the tools.
